REAL ESTATE PIONEER FAMILY

In 1973, Realtor Sam Piazza     brought the first computerized home search system of the MLS (Realtron) to Western NY.
At that time, Realtors had the tedious process of having to manually file and search new weekly multiple listing cards.
As soon as the new cards were filed, they were already outdated as new listings had come in to the MLS system.
Thanks to this real estate pioneer, the MLS is computerized as we now know it in Western NY and Realtors can now search
a centralized computer for their clients instead of using an outdated manual filing system.
Sam Piazza was also responsible for bringing one of the first Century 21 franchises to all of New York State (Rochester)
in the mid 1970's. After almost 50 years in the business, Sam is now retired and lives in Florida.

Circa 1965

Now in 2012, Bob Piazza (29 yrs. experience, 2nd generation Realtor) and Northern Star Realty continues that tradition with a cutting edge trend offering flat fee MLS for those homeowners that want to save approximately half of the commissions that full service brokers charge. The system is simple but very high tech, so you can use the same MLS the local Realtors use to get your house sold. In today's challenging economy, we felt there is a need for another viable option (Flat Fee MLS) for those home sellers who need
or want to save a huge amount of money by using a system that combines the MLS and "For Sale By Owner" with Realtor support.
